November Essentials.

The thinnest yellow light of November is more warming and exhilarating than any wine they tell of. The mite which November contributes becomes equal in value to the bounty of July.

I just cannot believe how fast the months are flying by-- can you? I feel like before we know it, we'll be raising a glass to 2011 as we watch the ball drop through a sea of confetti. Goodness. Slow down, time!

With November officially here, I wanted to share some of my go-to essentials for this time of year. With the days growing colder & the nights getting longer, I don't know what I would do without the following:

1-- Oversize Flannel Button Downs: I snagged a few from the JCrew Men's catalogue a few years back and am loving them more and more each year-- they truly just get better & softer with time.
2-- Chai Tea: Oh this is such a go-to for me every fall. I just love the rich combination of nutmeg & cinnamon. Check out this recipe to create your own concentrate at home!
3-- Boots: If I could wear a pair of classic leather boots every day, I would. And given that I work from home some days, I love that I'm able to. These Veronica Slouch Frye boots are absolutely on my Christmas wish-list this year!
5-- Scarves: I literally wear them with anything & everything in the fall. These scarves are absolutely my No. 1 go-to when the weather turns chilly.
6-- Lollia Handcreme: I don't know about you, but my hands are the first thing to suffer when the humidity leaves the air. Thankfully, I discovered the Lollia line two years ago and it still remains the only lotion able to keep my hands soft & moisturized through the fall and winter months without that horrible greasy feeling. Highly, highly recommended! (My favorite is the Wish Shea Butter Handcreme)
7-- Aspen Bay Candles: There's nothing that softens a room more than a lit candle and these days, I've always got one burning whenever I'm in the apartment. I've always loved clean, crisp scents and Aspen Bay's Rain candle totally does it for me.
8-- Wool Socks: Love 'em! Indoors or outdoors, these socks are the best way to keep warm & cozy. You can never go wrong going back to basics with LL Bean's Rag Socks.

What are some of your go-to Fall essentials? Happy November!
